Ultimately, we want you to be happy with what you hear and treasure. Songs are powerful and we try to record the performance on the day. This way you can take them with you and listen to them whenever suits you and be transported back to one of the most magical moments in your and your baby's life.
Performers
Pauline would normally always perform as a duo. For baby blessing's we have previously offered the options of a clarsach (traditional celtic harp) as it instantly offers a beautifully serene sensitivity that is perfect for such events although we offer the option of an acoustic guitarist too. If you feel that you would rather have another instrumental accompaniment then we will try to accommodate your wishes there too.

Preparation
Having everything ready for your baby blessing takes a great deal of planning, thought and rehearsal on our part. Particularly if your song choices are something which Pauline and her accompanist have never played before. For this reason, she would normally need your song choices to be confirmed at least 3 months in advance of the ceremony. Melodies, vocals and interpretations are all meticulously thought out and rehearsed for your particular day to be able to offer something special that will truly add to your occasion. Sound
A sound technician is included to set up the PA kit, perform a sound check, mix the live sound and record your songs at your chosen baby blessing venue. The result is your song choices can be heard in all their glory and everyone in the room will be able to hear them as you intended. We even try to capture a live recording of the performance on the day. We will even try to work around the logistical challenges that come to us, such as performing without access to power.

How Far Would You Travel?
For baby blessing, most of our bookings are in the central belt of Scotland, but we have performed as far away as London and would quote for anywhere in the UK. Just let us know where you want us to play and we will provide you with a quote for performing there.
